The violence itself is fantastical the joke throughout the Naruto community is that Naruto would rather talk out with the most antagonizing force that has ever been portrayed in media than keep fighting. The majority of the themes can be simplified as 'stay undeterred until you reach your goal', 'forgive and forget', 'keep your bond strong', and 'put others above yourself'.

Violence is present due to the ninja (military enforcement) being in a world war. Naruto develops and influences the characters around whereas Sasuke is a heavy contrast. The common sense review states that there are no important messages nor are there role models (the themes of this game must have flown over your head if you didn't find any).
